If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like to capture an entire wedding weekend in one incredible day, A Vintage Affairé at Highlands Mansion in Ambler, PA was the answer.
Hosted by Kenna & Sarah and expertly planned by Experience Chartreuse, this full-day styled shoot brought together some of the most talented creatives in the region — from florists and planners to photographers, content creators, and designers. What made it extra special was the collaboration at its core; it wasn’t just about beautiful setups, but about community, connection, and shared inspiration.
The concept? To tell the story of a wedding weekend from start to finish. Each room of the Highlands Mansion was transformed into a living timeline — every space styled to capture a different chapter of a couple’s celebration.
There were six immersive stations, each with its own unique energy and purpose:
✨ The Night Before — a cozy rehearsal dinner scene, intimate and elegant, perfect for candid storytelling.
🏨 The Hotel Lobby — that familiar excitement of guests arriving and checking in for a weekend of love.
💄 The Bridal Suite — soft light, morning mimosas, and all the anticipation of “the big day.”
📸 The Flatlay Room — a creative playground where photographers could experiment with curated details.
💍 The Wedding & Reception — a romantic, vintage-inspired ceremony and dinner setup.
🍸 The Cocktail Hour & Secret Garden Speakeasy — moody, lush, and the perfect finale to the day’s story.
Throughout the day, six rotating groups of photographers, videographers, and content creators from Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware moved through the spaces — capturing, connecting, and learning from one another.
A Vintage Affairé was a paid styled shoot, designed to give participants not only beautiful content but also valuable industry experience. The day concluded with a relaxed networking hour, complete with drinks by TopDog Cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres from Graze and Decor. It was the perfect way to wind down after a full day of creativity, surrounded by new friends and endless inspiration.
Personally, I left the event feeling energized — and so grateful. I made so many new vendor friends and walked away inspired by the sheer talent, collaboration, and artistry in the room. It reminded me exactly why I love this industry: the magic that happens when passionate people come together to create something beautiful.
